Blue 03:16
Wandering off down the hill To the sea further still Breaking the surface gone beneath Still we walk, still we breathe But it's a strange unknown world Soon we're trippin and we're caught up in a whirl And we can't get out You, never see the things I don't You, you're just as lost as me and now I'm gone Everything here drenched in blue Watching me, watching you Creatures that trust us to be true But we did what we do And we cannot see How they feel, or if they know what will be And they depend on us You never really thought of us You didn't see the sea for what it was Wandering off down the hill To the sea further still

Move 05:42
Days are slipping away I am already losing today I guess it's just how I'm feeling again But right here and now it feels like the end I hate it when I'm Lost in this feeling, get lost in the blues Trying to fight it got nothing to lose Move me, keep me alive Leave my, my body in drive Feels like I'm floating out of this hole Oh how you lift me, body and soul Cause I hate it when I'm Lost in this feeling, get lost in the blues But I've learned to fight it still sometimes I lose I'm falling, I'm crawling, but then there is you Following the groove, following the groove Following the groove, following the groove

Flowers 03:59
I like the flowers on the table Books and pictures all around But i like best that you're here with me Something bout the way you sound So darling say that you'll try To bring me back before I die Cause tonight I'll no longer know How it was long ago Just give me one more day Just give me one more night Just give me one more moment in the sun Can you tell me how you got here To come alone so young and fair But then you tell me that you're older And that there's been so much we've shared Darling say that you'll try To bring me back before I die Cause tonight I'll no longer know How it was long ago Just give me one more day Just give me one more night Just give me one more moment in the sun
4.
Anything 03:08
Walking down the hill of sound Through the door and find who I was before When I I, I could go anywhere I, I could do anything Free the mind, who knows what you'll find Think of when the world was new, how it felt back then When I I, I could do anything I, I could be anyone I, I could go anywhere I, I could do anything Anything, anything (I could, I could do anything) I, I could do anything I, I could be anyone I, I could go anywhere I, I could do anything (I could, I could) Be anyone (I could, I could) Go anywhere

The Wall 03:53
The night is slowly fading with the break of dawn And the sun is coming up And I don't think that I've ever seen a night this long But it's over now Sometimes you fall But you get back up and You say ok and try another way Find your way across the wall Rewind, align, you'll get it right this time Doesn't matter if you fall So endure the towns, the ups and downs, the turnarounds Be sure to keep it real And though someone may pick on you for being true That's part of the deal Sometimes you fall But you get back up and You say ok and try another way Find your way across the wall Rewind, align, you'll get it right this time Doesn't matter if you fall Cause you're still standing tall You say ok and try another way Find your way across the wall Rewind, align, you'll get it right this time Doesn't matter if you fall Cause you're still standing Tall, tall

White Shores 03:08
She sailed across the ocean Never said goodbye She set her plan in motion Didn't want to see them cry (Hm hm hm) (Hm hm hm) White shores ahead the captain said A breeze in the air Carried with it from the meadow A peace that she'd find there And even though she found it There is no way around it She fled the day the waves carried her away Not lost anymore Left her world to roam Going home Not lost anymore Left her world to roam Going home (Hm hm) Home (Hm hm) Home (Hm hm) Home (Hm hm) Home
7.
I can't see what will be But there's something I will keep Carry with me where I go Without it there's no sleep And it all breaks out, from the heart like a wave And it won't run out in the night And it all flows out like a rainbow ever dancing in the sun May it always shine on me I was taught to believe You'll find it everywhere Even in our darkest hour I know it's in the air And it all breaks out from the heart like a wave And it won't run out, in the night And it all flows out like a rainbow ever dancing in the sun May it always shine on me
8.
Bird 03:59
A bird flew high, touched the sky Going home But they all said it wouldn't Make it They don't think you're ready, ready to begin Saying there's too much trouble where you've been They don't know you're steady, found your way within And that you're mended, healed your broken wing Winds stood against the rain Bouncing off But some will always doubt a little bird Breaking out They don't think you're ready, ready to begin Saying there's too much trouble where you've been They don't know you're steady, found your way within And that you're mended, healed your broken wing And you fly and you fly and Going higher and higher Higher and higher Higher and higher A bird flew high, touched the sky Going home Going home Going home (Going higher and higher) Going home (Higher, higher)
9.
Painted pictures Of me and you All around me And it's such a burning view Cups of coffee Old and new Smells like yesterday I don't know what to do and I say The needle tells the time That I've spent on leaving happiness behind And now I guess you're gone And it goes On and on and on and on and on On and on and on and on and on Where you off to? What's the plan? Well, from now I'll write my future in the sand We were drifters in our prime Now I've got tens of thousands inner rocks to climb, and I say The needle tells the time That I've spent on leaving happiness behind And now I guess you're gone And it goes on And on It goes on (Mm) It goes on What's been is gonna be An eternal part of what was you and me I miss you but I hope That I'll meet you later further down the road That I'll meet you later further down the road (Mmm, Mmm) (Mmm, Mmm Mmm Mm) (Mmm, Mmm) (Mmm, Mmm Mmm Mm)

Waiting 02:58
I am waiting, waiting for you here until I am sleeping, cause tonight I've got time to kill But soon you'll be home and then you'll wake me up and you'll say I love you (Hmm, mm, mm, mm, m) (Hmm, mm, mm, mm, m) I remember the time when you weren't around Never miss it cause you brought the light to my sound And I know that it's cheesy to say that it's easy but I do I love you (Hmm, mm, mm, mm, m) (Hmm, mm, mm) (Hmm, mm, mm, mm, m) (Hmm, mm, mm) (Hmm, mm, mm, mm, m) (Hmm, mm, mm) (Hmm, mm, mm, mm, m) (Hmm, mm, mm) And soon you'll be home and then you'll wake me up and you'll say I love you

about

From Norwegian country singer-songwriter Stina Kjelstad comes the albumt “From the Heart”. All songs were written by Kjelstad in colaboration with her guitarist (and life partner) Andreas Barsnes Onarheim. The genre could be described as somewhere where country, indie-folk, pop and singer-songwrite meets. The starting point for every Stina-song written is her voice and guitar-playing. Outside her own projects Stina is a key member of the internationally acclaimed artist Jonas Fjeld’s band.

The title for the album points to love itself as a theme. Many of the lyrics touch on this in various ways. To believe in yourself, in others around you, and that it’s possible to come back after a big set-back are also things that are described. Some songs differ, such as “Blue”, which in its own way points to environmental issues and our impact on nature and marine life especially.
